Howard Robert Ervin Howard (January 22 1906 – June 11 1936)[1] was a classic American pulp writer of fantasy, horror, historical adventure, boxing, western, and detective fiction.  II. Raff will be a class I director, increasing the number of independent directors on the seven-member board to six. Her term will expire at the annual meeting held in 2009. Raff will serve on the compensation and nominating and governance committees.

Raff, 56, joined J.C. Penney Company, Inc. in 2001 and currently serves as executive vice president and general merchandise manager of Fine Jewelry. She is a past executive board member and vice chairman of the North Texas Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and continues to work passionately on its behalf.
