These workshops will help families cope with the stress and exhaustion that accompanies caring for a family member or friend with Alzheimer's or other forms of memory impairment. A resource center at the residence, open to the public, will contain the most up-to-date literature on memory impairment. The 80th Street Residence is affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Hospital and its Irving Sherwood Wright Center on Aging. There will be an examination room on the premises so that physicians can make "house calls." The 80th Street Residence features a community garden, tea room, concierge and examination room on its first floor.
