Greystone brings in veteran team to expand HELOC program.

Greystone Residential Funding, Inc. announced the formation of a team dedicated to HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit) and second mortgage programs in Florida and Southeastern U.S. Heading up the team will be Alberto Saez who has been named Southeast Sales Manager. Prior to joining Greystone, Saez was the National Consumer Lending Manager at Banco Popular North America. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia's Graduate School of Retail Bank Management.

Saez will oversee a newly appointed force consisting of Bill Carias, Peter Vazquez and Brenda Barfield, all of whom have been named as Business Development Officers. Each brings a strong industry background to his or her new position.

Carias has more than 10 years experience in the lending industry. Most recently, he was Assistant Vice President/Transaction Manager for Goldman Sachs and in sales for 15 years. He has a MBA from the University of Miami.

Vazquez has been in the mortgage lending business for over five years and in sales for 15 years. He comes to Greystone from Metroplex Mortgage where he served as an Account Executive. He has a business degree from Barry University.

Barfield was previously an underwriter for JP Morgan Chase, specializing in first liens. She also served as an account executive with NovaStar Mortgage.
