Greyhounds: Oxford reveal new GM.

THE GRA yesterday announced the appointment of a new general manager for Oxford Stadium, a position which has been overseen by Clive Feltham since previous incumbent Jim Snowden was made redundant in May of 2004.

The man to fill the role is Stephen Rawle, a former area manager with Nat West, and he will officially take the reigns on Monday week.

Company managing director Feltham said: "I am delighted Stephen is joining the GRA and I believe he has all the qualities we have been looking for, and I'm confident we have found the right person to lead the established team at Oxford, and continue their good work."

Rawle, who has a background of greyhound ownership for the past seven years at both Walthamstow and Romford, stated: "I'm extremely happy to be joining the GRA and fulfilling an ambition to work in greyhound racing. I'm looking forward to driving Oxford forward, with the superb team around me through the rest of 2005 and into next year."
