Gregory named CEO of Kraton.


George B. Gregory was appointed chief executive officer of Kraton Polymers by the company's board of directors. He succeeds Stephen M. Wood, who is transitioning from CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  to vice chairman.

Gregory joins Kraton Polymers from KoSa, a producer of polyester resins, fibers and intermediates, where he served as chief executive officer and president. While with KoSa, he lead the transformation of the company into a standalone, low-cost, entrepreneurial leader in its industry. He left KoSa in April 2004 when the company merged with Invista and relocated. Before joining KoSa, Gregory held various positions with Koch Industries Koch Industries, Inc. (pronounced "koke") is a private corporation based in Wichita, Kansas. According to Forbes Magazine, it is the largest privately owned company in the world by revenue (surpassing Cargill in 2005 with the acquisition of Georgia-Pacific), with subsidiaries , Monitor and Dupont.

Gregory received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School Harvard Business School, officially named the Harvard Business School: George F. Baker Foundation, and also known as HBS, is one of the graduate schools of Harvard University.  and a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Harvard College Harvard College is the undergraduate section and oldest school of Harvard University, founded in 1636 by the Massachusetts Legislature. The College is instructed by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, which also instructs the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. .
