Gregory McCaffery named publisher at BNA.Gregory C. McCaffery, the new publisher at The Bureau of National Affairs BNA (The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc.) is a Washington, D.C.-based publisher of news and information on legislation, regulations, and court decisions for professionals in business and government. It is the oldest wholly employee-owned company in the United States. , will retain the roles of vice president and editor-in-chief, which he assumed in January 2000. He had previously been director of marketing and new product development, a position he held from 1996 through 1999. In that capacity McCaffery led BNA's successful migration from print to electronic publishing. Since then he has overseen the corporation's evolution into multiple-format publishing. BNA had annual revenues of $297 million in 2000--the same year BNA acquired Kennedy Information for $47.7 million. Other BNA divisions include: Pike & Fischer Inc., Silver Spring, Maryland Not to be confused with Silver Springs.
