Gregory M. Casey to join Qwest Communications as Senior Vice President - Carrier Markets.


DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 27, 1997--Qwest Communications today announced that Gregory M. Casey has been appointed as Senior Vice President - Carrier Markets.

In this capacity, he is responsible for all of Qwest's carrier marketing and sales programs. Prior to joining Qwest, Casey was Vice President of Carrier Relations and Regulatory Affairs Regulatory Affairs (RA), also called Government Affairs, is a profession within regulated industries, such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, energy, and banking. Regulatory Affairs professionals usually have responsibility for the following general areas:
 at LCI LCI Livable Centers Initiative
LCI Life Cycle Inventory
LCI Landing Craft, Infantry
LCI La Chaine Info (French cable news channel)
LCI Lean Construction Institute
LCI Lions Club International
 International.

Before joining LCI, Casey was Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Telephone Company Relations with ONCOR Communications; he also served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Telesphere International. Casey holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut The University of Connecticut is the State of Connecticut's land-grant university. It was founded in 1881 and serves more than 27,000 students on its six campuses, including more than 9,000 graduate students in multiple programs.
