Greg Lindberg buys all the assets of Tom Woodall's Garrett Communications.

All of the properties of Rockville, Maryland-based Garrett Communications, a b-to-b publisher of travel industry newsletters, have been sold to Travel Research Bureau Inc., owned by Greg Lindberg. He will operate the Garrett properties under the Travel Research name.

Garrett was founded in 1993 by Tom Woodall, who was president of the company until its sale. Norman Rentrop, of Bonn, Germany, was a minority investor.

Garrett's properties included three print and electronic newsletters--including the flagship, $547/year Travel Distribution Report--a daily electronic news service, books and reports, and two major annual travel industry 4 conferences.

Woodall says he's "looking at several opportunites, but nothing has jelled yet."
