Those include our busy legislative activities (see Hill Bulletin and the Advocacy section of League Matters) and our numerous Education Fund projects (also in League Matters). Among the latter is the successful project on "Local Voices: Citizen Conversations on Civil Liberties and Secure Communities," conducted by Leagues around the country in the spring. A report on the findings of this project was submitted recently to members of Congress. As for upcoming projects, you will learn about new international exchanges with women from Kenya and Russia beginning this fall.
