 committee of persons from various fields including arts, education, psychology, academia and industry, which selected a single painting to represent India in the Arts Olympiad.

A painting depicting young girls and women taking on new roles in the new millennium by Preethi M Shet, a Bangalore-based 10 year old, was selected as the Indian submission. The theme was very relevant to a developing country like India, where women do not enjoy equal status even today.

A special exhibition of selected paintings received from all famous art supplies manufacturer in India.

CAFI's mission is to foster an intellectual and cultural environment among children in India in which the spirit and skill of the creative individual will thrive and the artistic talents of a child will blossom.
