The new name reflects the broadening scope of hedge fund investing and continued increase in institutional demand for alternative investments. The names of the various Greenwich-Van Hedge Fund Indices will also adopt the new name and will now be known as the Greenwich Global Hedge Fund Indices and the Greenwich Investable Hedge Fund Indices. The name change is also heralded by a new logo and company website.
