Greenway Medical Technologies' Justin Barnes to Participate in Congressional Subcommittee Panel Discussion on the Future of Information Technology in the Health Care Industry.

The panel is speaking before the subcommittee to discuss the future of information technology in the health care industry.

Barnes will provide a perspective as to how healthcare IT vendors such as Greenway are working with government agencies, physicians and commercial providers in establishing regulations and certifications within the industry. Barnes has over a decade of experience in deploying and supporting EHRs at the point-of-care with physicians and plans to share those experiences with members of Congress. Besides being responsible for building and executing Greenway's corporate strategy and government relations, Barnes resides on several health care information technology and EHR industry governance boards and committees including the EHRVA (Electronic Health Record Vendors Association), HIMSS HIMSS Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society  (Health Information and Management Systems Society) and eHealth Initiative.
