Greenthal, Harlan retained by RTC for asset management.

Greenthal Harlan Realty Services Company, a joint venture of The Charles H. Greenthal Group, Inc. and The Harlan Company, Inc., has been retained as asset manager and disposition agent by the Resolution Trust Corporation for a cooperative and condominium apartment portfolio initially totally over 4,400 apartment units with a book value in excess of $138 million.

The portfolio, which will be drawn from over 15 financial institutions, includes most of the RTC's cooperative and condominium assets in the New York metropolitan area. "We expect the portfolio to increase over time as assets are transitioned to us by the RTC," said Lance West, president of Greenthal Harlan. The portfolio includes loans made to cooperative apartment buildings, sponsors and developers, and owners of cooperative and condominium apartments, as well as a large number of owned cooperative and condominium apartments.
