GreenbergFarrow completes $500m Bronx Terminal plan.


GreenbergFarrow recently completed the master plan for the $500 million Gateway Center at the Bronx Terminal Market in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

The project achieves an unusually efficient level of land use by providing one million square feet of retail space within a 16.8-acre parcel, an area that would commonly deliver approximately 160,000 s/f of such space. Related is the developer of the South Bronx site, which is scheduled to open to the public in the fall of 2009.

GreenbergFarrow served as both master planner and retail designer for the complex, including creation of massing and spatial concepts. The company also guided the development through New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 City's Uniform Land Use Review Procedure, the municipality's land use approval process.

GreenbergFarrow designed the center to resemble a suburban shopping destination formatted in a vertically stacked Stacked is an American television sitcom that premiered on Fox on April 13, 2005. The complex includes three buildings, with two retailers sandwiching a parking structure.

The project is one of the largest private investments in the history of the Bronx.

The initiative will create about 2,900 construction jobs and 2,100 permanent retail jobs, and is expected to generate about $21 million in city tax revenue annually.
