Studio founder Peter Drey, who has 30 years of design experience, will lead the Urban Design Studio located in downtown Atlanta Downtown Atlanta refers to the largest financial district for the city of Atlanta.

As defined by the Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) organization, the area measures approximately 4 mi², and was home to 23,300 as of 2006.
. The studio specializes in master planning, architectural design, landscape architecture, and urban design of residential and commercial projects. The studio is a resource for GreenbergFarrow's seven offices across the country, strengthening the urban design services offered by the firm.

"Our knowledge of the urban environment-combined with GreenbergFarrow's strong experience with projects of many types and scales--enables us to fully engage the skills of 250 employees nationwide to provide clients with the most innovative, creative designs," said Mr. Drey. "We look forward to expanding our horizons by working on new projects throughout the country."

Currently, under the GreenbergFarrow banner, the studio is working on a number of projects in Atlanta including design of 14th Street linking Piedmont Park to Midtown West in Atlanta that includes construction of a new bridge across the downtown connector, serving as a gateway to the Midtown and Georgia Tech neighborhoods.
