Greenberg Traurig Attorney Annapoorni Sankaran Included Among Boston Business Journal's '40 Under 40'.

BOSTON, Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Annapoorni Sankaran, a shareholder in the Boston office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP and President-Elect of the North American South Asian Bar Association (NASABA), has been named one of Boston Business Journal's "40 Under 40."

The list is comprised of 40 business men and women who are under 40 years old and have established themselves as leaders to be watched in their fields. This year's class will be honored on October 1, 2009 at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.

Sankaran is a commercial litigator with subspecialties in bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation, intellectual property litigation, and ERISA litigation. She represents institutional and individual clients in all business disputes. Sankaran has trial and appellate experience before the Massachusetts federal and state courts as well as experience representing clients in mediation and arbitration. She also has significant experience with class actions and other complex litigation, international clients, foreign law and insurance coverage.

Sankaran, who will serve as president of NASABA during 2010-2011, had previously served as the Vice President of Public Relations on the organization's Executive and as Vice President of Organizational Memberships and Chair of its Judiciary Committee.
