Green Gas: Between sow and 2008, the Southern California Gas Co. plans to award $2.4 million to its business customers through its new Energy-Efficiency Grant Program. A company in the Gas Co.'s service territory can receive as much as $300,000 in grants for major energy-efficiency projects. Veritis Communications, a provider of advertising, media and marketing services was the first to receive an incentive payment from the Gas Co. Veritis is receiving $167,000 to improve the energy efficiency of two of its printing facilities in Pomona and Riverside.
