Great role model. (Letters).

THANK YOU FOR YOUR REFRESHING ARTICLE on Michael Lee-Chin Michael Lee-Chin (1951 - Present) is a Jamaican/Canadian investor, of Afro-Caribbean and Chinese heritage. Amongst other positions, he is currently Chairman of AIC Limited (a Canadian mutual fund), and Chairman of the National Commercial Bank of Jamaica.  and his concepts of building a financial domain ("Buy, Hold, and Prosper PROSPER - ["PROSPER: A Language for Specification by Prototyping", J. Leszczylowski, Comp Langs 14(3):165-180 (1989)]. ," August 2002). My fellow scientists and I could not get enough of his story, as my copy of your magazine was constantly passed around the office.

As Mr. Lee-Chin had chosen another wealthy billionaire, Warren Buffet A buffet is a meal serving system where patrons serve themselves. It is a popular method of feeding large numbers of people with minimal staff. The term is also used to describe a sideboard, an antique form of furniture which was sometimes used to offer the dishes of a buffet meal , as his [role model], I too believe that to attain true financial success, you must select a successful [model] to follow, one who can [show] you what you must do to accomplish your goals. Lee-Chin's law of buy and hold is important today as our unsettled economy fluctuates and stockholders look to dump their stock as the market drops.

My philosophy: "I ain't ain't

THANK YOU FOR YOUR AUGUST 2002 COVER story on Jamaican-Canadian '''

Jamaican Canadian is a Canadian-born person of Jamaican descent, or a Jamaican-born person with Canadian citizenship. History
Among the many West Indian countries whose citizens emigrate each year, Jamaica is no exception.
billionaire Michael Lee-Chin. While so many business magazines focus on U.S. business opportunities, your story on this Canadian Canadian (kənā`dēən), river, 906 mi (1,458 km) long, rising in NE New Mexico. and flowing E across N Texas and central Oklahoma into the Arkansas River in E Oklahoma.  success was a bold move.

Michael Lee-Chin has been a household name in many Canadian and Caribbean households for years now. However, little attention is paid to his success in the U.S. Lee-Chin's success reflects that there is a huge market open for investment in Canada and Jamaica, with plenty of room for philanthropy philanthropy, the spirit of active goodwill toward others as demonstrated in efforts to promote their welfare. The term is often used interchangeably with charity.  in those markets as well.

Thank you for your global perspective.
