The Ultrablend 675 gravimetric batch blender is said to be ideally suited for blending granules, regrinds and non-compacting powders (less than 5%). The Ultrablend 675 can have up to six dosing components and is said to offer improved accuracy with its vertical slide gate design. The stainless steel constructed Ultrablend 675 is said to provide high dosing accuracy and consistency, which improves end product quality. Money is also said to be saved by using fewer additives and reducing scrap. With its rugged, compact, modular construction, the Ultrablend gravimetric batch blender guarantees high flexibility for extension hoppers and conveying system integration, according to the company. The Ultrablend 675 is available for direct mounting on injection molding machines and extruders, and offers a throughput up to 1,543 lbs./hr. (700 kg/hr.). All products are dosed and weighed one after another into a weigh bin supported by a single load cell, eliminating load cell matching, where it then passes through to the mixing chamber.
