:GOJO), a leading worldwide developer of server-based application publishing and Web-enabling software solutions, announced today that it has signed a software distribution agreement with Bitline Oy to distribute the GO-Global family of thin-client, server-centric solutions throughout Finland.

"With 20 years experience in the Finnish IT marketplace, Bitline is the ideal partner to promote and distribute our application delivery solutions through its established reseller channel," said Tom Castanzo, GraphOn's Business Development Director for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Refers to that region of the world. For example, one might see products packaged differently for the UK, EMEA and Asia Pacific markets. . "This agreement represents an important expansion of our rapidly-growing European channel."

The GO-Global family reduces the costs and complexities of centralized application delivery. GO-Global for Windows publishes Windows applications without the need for Microsoft Windows Terminal Services or Citrix Presentation Server Software from Citrix that provides a timeshared, multiuser environment for Unix and Windows servers. Formerly MetaFrame, Citrix Presentation Server uses the ICA protocol to turn the client machine into a terminal and governs the input/output between the client and server. , while GO-Global for UNIX UNIX

publishes UNIX and Linux applications without the need for client-side X server software.

"GO-Global is the perfect solution for businesses and government organizations here in Finland," said Bitline CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Heikki Nykyri. "We have been searching for a simple, cost-effective alternative to Citrix, which can be difficult to license and deploy. We are very pleased to be joining the GraphOn family."

With GO-Global, applications can be easily accessed from any location, platform and operating system, as though the applications were running locally. "This lowers costs and increases productivity, because application issues can be addressed at the central site, not at each individual desktop," concluded Nykyri.
