Granulator supplier broadens its range. (Auxiliaries).A recently announced joint venture between Battenfeld Gloucester Engineering Co.'s granulator division in Newport, N.H., and CMG CMG Coastal & Marine Geology (USGS) CMG Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (stock symbol) CMG Companion (of the Order Of) St Michael and St George CMG Computer Measurement Group Granulatori SrL in Italy greatly expands Gloucester's granulator range. Gloucester previously offered five sizes from 7 x 8 in. hopper A tray, or chute, that accepts input to a mechanical device, such as a disk duplicator or printer. In the days of punch cards, millions of cards were numerically or alphabetically organized by placing them into the hopper of a card sorter, taking them out of all the stackers and putting opening up to 14 x 28 in. Adding CMG's models brings the total to more than 20 sizes, from 6 x 8 to 24 x 40 in. with drives from 3 to 200 hp. CMG also supplies a staggered-tooth option in addition to straight rotor rotor: see generator; motor, electric. blades. The new venture, based in Newport, is called Gloucester-CMG Granulator Reclaim RECLAIM.
