Grants for school projects. (Grants & Contests).
The American Honda Foundation is offering grants to K-12 schools
and school districts that have come up with ideas for an educational
project for use with students in the areas of math, science, technology,
or environmental education. The grants range from $10,000 to $75,000,
and are given four times a year. The submitted project can be directed
by a teacher, but it must be sponsored by a school or school district.
Applications are due Feb. 1, May 1, and Aug. 1. To receive an
application and instructions, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope
to: American Honda Foundation, P.O. Box 2205, Torrance, CA 90509-2205.
All correspondence must be done by mail.
