Grantham University Hires New Academic Dean, Offers Military Students Extra Course at No Additional Cost.

The school was established in Southern California on January 2, 1951.. Grantham’s programs consist Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Computer , specializing in educating working adults, has hired Greg Garcia, Ed.D, as the new Academic Dean. Garcia has more than 40 years of experience in education services in the military and training programs.

Immediately prior to working at Grantham, Garcia was an adjunct instructor in political science for Tulane University and served as the Flotilla Commander for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for Ocean Springs and Biloxi, MS.

 to his doctorate, Garcia is grateful for being able to complete his education during his "Air Force years." Both Grantham and Garcia believe in helping today's generation of working adults and military service members. A large segment of Grantham's students are service members scattered throughout the U.S. and around the world.

Grantham has provided education opportunities to service members since 1951. The university has created a Military Scholarship Program to help service members overcome barriers to higher education and to express its gratitude for the men and women who sacrifice to serve our country. When combined with TA benefits ($250 per credit hour) the Grantham military scholarship program may cover all of the service member's tuition depending on the availability of funds and the number of enrolled credit hours per fiscal year. The scholarship includes: tuition in excess of TA up to the FY cap, required textbooks and software shipped with the courses, shipping of textbooks and course materials, as well as all application and lab fees.
