The application deadline for two National Trust funding programs is fast approaching. The Cynthia Woods Cynthia Lynn Wood (born September 25, 1950 in Burbank, California) is an American model and actress. She is the daughter of Harold and Erma Wood. She was chosen as Playmate of the Month in February 1973 and the 1974 Playmate of the Year. Mitchell and Johanna Favrot funding programs provide seed money primarily to non-profit organizations and government agencies for planning stages of preservation projects. The Johanna Favrot Fund for Historic Preservation Historic preservation is the act of maintaining and repairing existing historic materials and the retention of a property's form as it has evolved over time. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Fund (CWMF) for Historic Interiors was developed specifically to assist non-profit organizations and government agencies with the planning stages of restoration of significant, historic interiors. Applications to these funds are coordinated in this region by the Midwest Regional Office in Chicago with the final review and funding decisions made by a Selection Committee, comprised of members appointed by the National Trust and each respective foundation. JFF and CWMF applications must be postmarked by February 1st to meet the annual deadline. These National Programs are Highly Competitive Because JFF and CWMF are national and highly competitive, we strongly encourage potential applicants to talk to the Midwest Office Staff at the onset of a project.
