Granite City Food & Brewery Opens in Madison, Wisconsin.


Chain Has Now Expanded to 18 Restaurants

MINNEAPOLIS -- Granite City Granite City, city (1990 pop. 32,862), Madison co., SW Ill., an industrial suburb of East St. Louis, on the Mississippi; inc. 1896. It has port and rail connections.  Food & Brewery Ltd. (Nasdaq:GCFB) a Modern American upscale casual restaurant, has opened a new restaurant in West Madison, Wisconsin Madison is the capital of the U.S. state of Wisconsin and the county seat of Dane County. It is also home to the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

. The new restaurant is located in the West Towne Mall West Towne Mall is a shopping mall located in Madison, Wisconsin that is owned by CBL Properties. It is the sister mall to the East Towne Mall. It is anchored by Sears, JCPenney, Boston Store, Steve & Barry's, and Dick's Sporting Goods. .

The Madison restaurant is the seventh restaurant opened in 2006. The Company has now completed its goal of seven new restaurants in 2006 and has a total of eighteen restaurants in the Midwest.

Granite City is open daily for lunch, dinner and gatherings from 11 a.m. to midnight along with brunch on Sundays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The first Granite City restaurant opened in St. Cloud, MN in June 1999 and the Company subsequently expanded to other Midwest markets.
