Grangetown School history; Yousay IN YOUR OPINION...

I AM one of your regular readers who enjoys the Yesterdays features.

It would be interesting to see some of Grangetown National School's history. All our family attended this small school.

I helped win the St Peter's Cup at baseball and our football team played at Ninian Park Coordinates:  Ninian Park is a football stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Currently, it is the home ground of Cardiff City F.C. , drawing with a team from Canton Canton, cities, United States

1 City (1990 pop. 13,922), Fulton co., W central Ill., in the corn belt; inc. 1849. It is a trade and industrial center for a coal and farm area.

2 Town (1990 pop. 18,530), Norfolk co.
(I think it was Radnor Road), before losing to them at Llandaff Fields.

I played in goal on both occasions. One of our football team, T O'Keefe, went on to play for Cardiff Boys. I left there in 1951 and lost touch with school friends when I went into national service in 1954.

Unfortunately, I have no photos of my school days and would appreciate any of my school friends who have any to contact me.

Don Payne Canton, Cardiff Canton (Welsh: Treganna) is an inner-city area of west Cardiff, Wales. The name (from "St. Canna's Town") refers to the 6th century female saint after whom Pontcanna is also named.
