The largely residential city is home to many motion-picture and television personalities.  house for $180? Well, no. But you could win one for that price if you enter Century Housing's raffle.

The raffle will help finance the organization's after-school tutoring, job training, veteran housing and elderly wellness programs. "Our goal is mainly to keep these programs going," said Robbie Robbie may refer to:

"It was actually a group idea," Regina Krossy, executive director of the fund, said of the raffle. She hopes it will raise at least $1 million after prizes are awarded. Other non-profits have raffled houses, "but not to this scale at all," said McPherson. "We just thought we'd do something big to kick off the fund."

Organizers now hope to sell 22,000 tickets at $180 each, with each entry getting a shot at the house, or $1 million cash in lieu Cash In Lieu (CIL)

Century Housing was formed 30 years ago to assist people forced to move to make way for construction of the Century (105) Freeway. The organization has since become a private non-profit and the programs have expanded citywide.
