Granary Wharf, Leeds.

The public got their first look around the Granary Wharf development on 7 June, situated behind Leeds Train Station in Holbeck Urban Village Holbeck Urban Village is the name given to the mixed use re-generation south of Leeds railway station by local government and planning agencies. The designated area, once known simply as part of Holbeck, is located amongst ex-locomotive engineering and manufacturing buildings, some . The development features a shared, flexible, community space called The Hub. ISIS Waterside Regeneration's development is due to complete in September 2009.

Located in the historically interesting and arresting Holbeck Urban Village, an area with 33 listed buildings, the Granary Wharf development aims to combine environmental with economic sustainability. The Hub, a wi-fi enabled communal space, will set Granary Wharf apart from other developments, offering something in between a lobby and a cafe, with a collection point where residents can pick-up deliveries such as internet shopping or organic vegetable box deliveries, and a shared area, a sort of home from home, where residents can have a coffee with friends, find out what's going on What's Going On is a record by American soul singer Marvin Gaye.
