Grad rates higher for black athletes.


Athletic departments are graduating black students at higher rates than universities as a whole, according to according to
prep.
1. As stated or indicated by; on the authority of: according to historians.

 The Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport. Graduation Graduation is the action of receiving or conferring an academic degree or the associated ceremony. The date of event is often called degree day. The event itself is also called commencement, convocation or invocation.  rates for black athletes were 53% compared to 45% for the general black student body in 2006.
