Grace Davison continues donations to CIEF.


Grace Davison, a business unit of W.R. Grace & Co.-Conn., has announced that it is continuing its donation of $5000 to support the Coatings Industry Education Foundation's (CIEF CIEF Conseil International d'Études Francophones (Council of International Francophone Studies; Lafayette, LA)

) "Project Tomorrow" for the tenth consecutive year. Based in Columbia, MD, Grace is a leading supplier of silica silica or silicon dioxide, chemical compound, SiO2. It is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alkalies, and soluble in dilute hydrofluoric acid. Pure silica is colorless to white.  matting agents and anti-corrosion pigments for the coatings industry.

Grace was one of the founding donors of Project Tomorrow, a funding program instituted in 1995 to support the academic education of students pursuing careers in coatings science. Grace has donated do·nate

In addition to its donation to Project Tomorrow, Grace Davison also contributed to the CIEF Honor and Remembrance Fund for the second year. The donation is a tribute to former employee, Martin Lucas, who served the southeast U.S. area as national coatings account manager for the company.
