) has been advised by Trade Winds Ventures Inc. that Trade Winds reported further drilling results on the Detour Lake property. Trade Winds issued a press release today (November 1, 2005), the text of which is as follows:

Trade Winds Steps Out 350 Metres on Gowest Block, Continues to Intersect High Grade Gold Along the M Zone Structural Corridor at Detour Lake.

) is pleased to report several high grade gold zones have been intersected within step-out diamond drill hole TWDDH-107 recently completed on the Gowest Claims at Detour Lake.

The Gowest claims, covering approximately 960 hectares, are located approximately 6.3 km west of Placer Dome's former Detour Lake Mine, which produced 1.7 million ounces of gold. Trade Winds can earn up to a 60% interest from Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GWA), one of its three optioned Detour Lake properties which collectively cover approximately 8,830 hectares of the Detour Lake Camp, located in Canada's most prolific gold producing belt, the Abitibi Greenstone Belt The Abitibi greenstone belt is a 2,800-2,600 million year old greenstone belt that spans across the Ontario-Quebec border in Canada. It is mostly made of volcanic rocks, but also includes ultramafic rocks, mafic intrusions, granitoid rocks, and early and middle Precambrian , located approximately 160 kilometres northeast of Timmins.

Hole TWDDH-107 is located on Section 12800E, a 350 metre step out west of TWDDH-033F located on Section 13150E and across McAlpine Lake. As previously reported TWDDH-033F returned 6.01 grams/tonne gold over 23.0 metres, including 15.82 grams/tonne gold over 8.0 metres, and 85.98 grams/tonne gold over 1.40 metres along the upper contact of the M Zone. Hole TWDDH-107, designed to test the M Zone structural corridor at depth, was oriented at azimuth azimuth (ăz`əməth), in astronomy, one coordinate in the altazimuth coordinate system. It is the angular distance of a body measured westward along the celestial horizon from the observer's south point.  190 degrees, dipping -69 degrees, and ended at 1,175.35 metres.

In TWDDH-107, the M Zone's upper contact contains coarse visible gold of over 100 specks in a silica flooded, sericitically altered felsic fel·sic

returned 2.24 grams/tonne gold over 26.20 metres from the 1054 to 1080.2 metre interval. Significant gold concentrations contained within the interval include 69.0 grams /tonne gold over 0.2 metres and 46.4 grams /tonne gold over 0.7 metres.

The current Gowest drilling is situated over three kilometres west of the M Zone's surface expression. Located farther west on the Gowest block is a large regional, premineralization open fold. Current drilling is located approximately 250 metres east of the fold, with the objective of the Gowest program to continue expanding the M Zone mineralization to the west toward the M Zone fold. Only on the Gowest claims does the M Zone appear to have a major premineralization flexure flexure /flex·ure/ (flek´sher) a bend or fold; a curvation.

Continued success by Trade Winds along the M Zone structural corridor has demonstrated the structure's ability to contain potentially economic gold mineralization, with mineralization extending from bedrock surface at the east end of the structure, to high grade gold values at depth for more than four kilometres of strike length.

Along the M Zone structural corridor, the grades shown below are for only one of the multiple zones that occur in most drill holes. The high grade gold intersections on the sub-horizonatal roll structure that occurs along a komattiite contact to Iron-rich basaltic volcanics with cross-cutting felsic dyking. The M Zone ultramafic contact can be treated as a marker point within the broad gold zone in all holes, though there are parallel gold zones in all of the drill holes, above and below the drill intersections shown below.

The entire alteration zone can be well over 30 meters in width and contain up to 5 gold zones within it, and the gold zone remains open along strike to the west. The alteration zone appears to widen to the west, with a slight increase in metamorphic met·a·mor·phic
