Govt. Website hacked.

The website of the Government of Antigua & Barbuda has been corrupted by hackers who have replaced official government news and information with gross obscenities, reports Caribbean Net News (Dec. 1, 2004). The website was designed by the IT Department Technicians and its chief architect, Commissioner of Information Technology Eban Thomas, who was recently suspended from his position pending an investigation into incidents of leaks of government information. It now bears obscenities directed at the government from a company called aneurysm.inc with a hotmail email account by the same name. The website, www.antiguabarbuda.gov.ag has since been shutdown to outside access and technicians will be investigating the matter. When operating, the site receives more than 2500 hits per day.
