Governor Jesse Ventura Jesse Ventura (born James George Janos on July 15, 1951), also known as "The Body", "The Star", and "The Governing Body", is an American politician, retired professional wrestler, Navy UDT veteran, actor, and former radio and television talk show host.  announced the winners of this year's Governor's International Trade Awards at a program today at the Minneapolis Convention Center The Minneapolis Convention Center is a large convention center located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The awards for excellence were presented as part of the annual World Trade Week recognition event and World Trade Conference and Expo. Two companies were selected for recognition this year.

The governor also presented two awards from World Trade Week, Inc. The winner of this year's World Trader of the Year award is Ted T. Christianson, president, Christianson Systems, Inc., Blomkest, Minn. Over the past several years, Ted has increased the focus on international sales with great success. Christianson's SuperTower ship unloaders are becoming well known all around the world as the preferred, state-of-the-art equipment for efficient and clean unloading and handling of grains. Christianson has been an advocate of the U.S. government's export promotion programs and was among six companies invited to testify before Ex-Im Bank's Small Business Advisory Board on behalf of small business exporters.

A Special Service award from World Trade Week, Inc. was presented to Roger Prestwich, education program director, Minnesota Trade Office for his commitment in helping to raise awareness throughout the state of the importance of international growth. Prestwich is responsible for the development of more than fifty export training seminars annually and makes presentations on trade issues to organizations and groups throughout Minnesota.
