Governmental affairs conf focuses on regulatory pressures.Government Affairs Conf Focuses on Regulatory Pressures Reflecting increased political activity, environmental legislation and regulations will head the agenda at the annual Foundry Industry Government Affairs Conference on March 4-6 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel The Regency Hotel was a hotel in Denver, Colorado. Built in the 1960s to serve as a regional convention center, it was famous locally for its large gold dome and the luxury of the rooms within. on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The annual conference will update metalcasting and supplier industry executives on compliance requirements of federal mandates and proposals. Executives also will be encouraged to participate in the legislative and regulatory processes.
