Government given three weeks for legislation on overseas Pakistanis vote right.

ISLAMABAD, March 30, 2012 (Frontier Star): The Supreme Court on Thursday granted three weeks time to the government to do necessary legislation regarding right of vote to the overseas Pakistanis. Attorney General (AG) for Pakistan Molvi Anwarul Haq informed the three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary, which resumed the hearing of a petition filed by PTI PTI - Portable Tool Interface  chief Imran Khan For the cricketer of the same name from the West Indies, see .

, that the government would have to amend the People Representative Act 1976 and the Electoral Rolls Act 1974 for giving vote right to the overseas Pakistanis. For the purpose, the AG requested the court to grant time.
