Goodyear names Kramer CFO as Tieken retires.


Richard J. Kramer was named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Goodyear Tire & Rubber after the retirement of Robert W. Tieken on May 31.

Tieken was Goodyear's CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  since 1994. He joined the company after a 32-year career with General Electric.

Before joining Goodyear, Kramer served 13 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he started in 1986 and served in the firm's Paris office from 1991 to 1994. In 1998, he became a partner. He specialized in audit and business advisory services advisory services

He served as vice president of finance for Goodyear's North American business unit since July 2002 until he was named senior vice president of strategic planning and restructuring in August 2003.
