The contract has an option for an additional five years and includes the
delivery of new tires and the repair and overhaul of aviation tires for
the airline's 66 Boeing 737-800 jets. Under the agreement, the
company will make new tires at its plants in Danville, VA, and Bangkok Bangkok (băng`kŏk'), Thai Krung Thep, city (1990 pop. 8,538,610), capital of Thailand and of Bangkok prov., SW Thailand, on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River, near the Gulf of Thailand. ,
