Goodyear Chemical.


Goodyear Chemical's $144 million solution polymer plant in Beaumont, TX has begun full-scale operations, having produced materials meeting customer specifications within 24 hours of startup. The plant, using state-of-the-science equipment and technology, annually can produce 240 million pounds of synthetic rubber and specialty polymers. In addition to new polymers, the plant can replicate Goodyear's nearby plant products and processes, allowing total production flexibility, according to the company.
