Goodwill Industries of Southern California is Computer Ready to Accept Large Donations of Non-Y2K-Compliant Computers.


LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 1999--

It accepts incomplete systems, parts and pieces as well as software. See how to donate old equipment.  is now accepting non-Y2K-compliant computers and peripherals, which will not operate properly when the clock strikes 12:01 a.m., 2000.

"Those computers that can be upgraded will be sold in our stores," Barr said, "so people who can't afford to buy a new computer will have a quality computer but at a much lower price."
