Good sports rally at Downtown Club.


The Moinian Group, along with Cantor & Pecorella, Inc. will host the Downtown Club 9/11 Memorial Charity Basketball Event, a 3-on-3 extravaganza pitting New York City New York City: see New York, city.
New York City

City (pop., 2000: 8,008,278), southeastern New York, at the mouth of the Hudson River. The largest city in the U.S.
 police officers and firefighters against each other in a charity basketball game.

The event will take place Sept. 19 from 5 to 9:00 p.m. and will feature New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 Knicks players as honorary coaches.

All ticket sales as well as corporate sponsorship donations will go directly to the New York Police New York Police may refer to:

  • Port Authority Police(PAPD)
 & Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit Fund (www.nypfwc.org), which benefits families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty In the Line of Duty may refer to:

 by donating $25,000 to each family effected, followed by payments each year thereafter. The fund is a 501(c) 3 tax-deductible charity and every dollar contributed will go to the families.

The event will incorporate a temporary basketball half-court and specially installed bleachers. The audience will largely comprise New York's top real estate executives, along with various city and state civic leaders and politicians.

Located at 20 West St., The Downtown Club is the former site of the Downtown Athletic Club The Downtown Athletic Club was an athletic club in a 35-story building located at 19 West Street in Lower Manhattan, New York City, USA. It was founded in 1926. By 1927, it had purchased this site next to the Hudson River to construct its own building.  andsite of the famed Heisman Trophy. The building is now being converted to 283 luxurious condos.
