Good news.
While most remember last year's Super Bowl for the halftime
"entertainment," young people of many faiths were raising
$4.25 million for food banks and soup kitchens across the country. The
Souper Bowl of Caring organizes youth to raise money for hunger programs
and to serve in soup kitchens on the day before the Super Bowl in a
"service blitz blitz n. 1. a. A blitzkrieg.
b. A heavy aerial bombardment.

3. ." In 2004 more than 15,000 youth worked in soup
kitchens and shelters, while more than 12,000 organizations participated
