I cannot even begin to count the number of GLBT GLBT Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered people I have met in these congregations who feel they must remain in the closet in order to keep connected to their faith communities. I would encourage these believers to check out the Metropolitan Community Churches. We have an odd notion that all are acceptable in God's sight and willingly embrace the diversity of God's people. Nor are we tied to a particular liturgy or musical style.
