Good News for International Datacasting Senior Management Team.

International Datacasting (TSE:IDC.) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its senior management team and an important award nomination.

Ron MacGillivray has joined the company as Vice President, Manufacturing. Mr.MacGillivray will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of IDC's Manufacturing Group, which includes assembly, quality control, inventory, and purchasing, as well as operations for IDC's Ottawa teleport.

Prior to joining IDC, Mr. MacGillivray was Operations Manager for Chrysalis-ITS Inc. for five years where he played a key role in its growth from a small start-up to a company with more than 200 employees and $25M in sales. He was primarily responsible for logistics, test, manufacturing and purchasing with respect to e-commerce hardware devices. Mr. MacGillivray has an extensive background working in the high technology sector and the Canadian military. During his nine years in the Canadian Forces he lead a number of operational squadrons involved in signals intelligence and high frequency direction finding. Later he worked with the Department of National Defence and the Communications Security Establishment in the verification and system integration of cryptographic subsystems. Mr. MacGillivray has extensive contract and product management experience and is a graduate of the Technical University of Nova Scotia with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Michele Le Saux has been appointed to the new position of Director of Advanced Development, where she will be responsible for the development of new business in the area of broadband and advanced technologies.

Ms. Le Saux has been with IDC for more than three years as Director of Systems and Project Engineering. Prior to joining IDC she was the Manager of Systems and Project Engineering for the South African Satellite Applications Center, responsible for business development and overhauling the ground infrastructure. She negotiated and managed several new contracts with customers such as Hughes Space and Communications and McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing). Before that, she worked as a systems engineer on several Canadian Space Agency programs as well as on manned space flight programs at the French Space Agency. Ms. Le Saux brings with her 15 years of experience in the aerospace and telecommunications industry and has a Master's Degree in Space Telecommunications Systems from ENSAE, Toulouse, France and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
