Good Guys to Relocate Corporate Headquarters to East Bay of San Francisco.

Good Guys (NASDAQ: GGUY), one of the nation's largest specialty retailers of consumer entertainment electronics, today announced that it is relocating its corporate headquarters within the San Francisco Bay Area to Alameda. Currently, Good Guys corporate headquarters are located in Brisbane. The official move will take place on March 5.

Good Guys Corporate Headquarters will be located in Bay View Plaza in the Harbor Bay Business Park at 1600 Harbor Bay Parkway. Approximately 140 employees will occupy the new space, which encompasses 31,000 square feet and features open workspaces for collaboration, a state-of-the-art computer operations center and a variety of conference and meeting rooms.

Good Guys' new headquarters will allow the company to take advantage of lower occupancy costs while offering associates a more modern, team-oriented working environment. In addition, the company expects the lower cost of living in the East Bay to assist in recruiting and retaining an experienced workforce. The new location is approximately 15 miles from the company's distribution center in Hayward.

Richard Pollack & Associates developed the design and architecture for Good Guys' new headquarters. Lennar Partners, a division of Lennar Corporation, is the developer of the property. Good Guys was represented by Triton Commercial. Terms of the lease agreement were not disclosed, but Good Guys expects the move to reduce its annual corporate real estate costs by more than 50 percent.
