HAROLD HUNTER, THE LEGEND OF NEW YORK LEGENDS, WAS found dead in the East Village housing project where he grew up and came of age. The cause of death was reportedly a heart attack. Overflow crowds attended both his funeral and farewell party at KCDC in Brooklyn. Befitting the star he was, Hunter was laid to rest attired in his black fedora hat, wearing silver Nikes and holding his skateboard. The New York Times published a moving obituary penned by Corey Kilgannon that marked his passing. A slew of photos at his service depicted Harold entertaining numerous celebrities, supermodels, and society heiresses. The likes of Harold Hunter will never pass this way again.
