 -- In its annual release, Goldman, Sachs & Co. today announced the composition and weights for the 2007 Goldman Sachs Commodity Index The Goldman Sachs Commodity Index (GSCI) is a world-production weighted index composed of 24 commodity futures contracts. Investing in precious metals can be done either by purchasing the physical asset, or by purchasing futures contracts for the particular metal.
