He set a new best of 9.49sec in the 80 metres hurdles, and was only a centimetre outside his best in the high jump with a leap of 1.62m. Joseph also reached 5.44m in the long jump, set a new best throw of 9.49m in the shot and knocked six seconds off his PB with 2min 34sec in the 800m.
