Golden Quill quill: see pen.  Award

All manuscripts published in the January/February 2002 through November/December 2002 issues of Camping Magazine are entered in the contest. Submit manuscripts according to according to
prep.
1. As stated or indicated by; on the authority of: according to historians.

2. In keeping with: according to instructions.

3.
 regular Camping Magazine submission guidelines. (See www.ACAcamps.org/campmag/contrib.htm.)

Golden Lens Award

All color and black-and-white photos and slides received by Camping Magazine in the 2002 calendar year are entered.

Photos should depict de·pict  
tr.v. de·pict·ed, de·pict·ing, de·picts
1. To represent in a picture or sculpture.

2. To represent in words; describe. See Synonyms at represent.
 the camp experience and represent the best practices in the field. Photos that do not comply with ACA ACA - Application Control Architecture  standards will not be considered. Please identify the photographer's name, camp name, and a contact address and phone number on each submission. Submit a letter stating that the camp or photographer has a model release on file for all identifiable subjects.

Judging

Manuscripts will be judged by the Camping Magazine Editorial Advisory Board. Photos will he judged by a panel of ACA national staff members.

Awards

Golden Quill and Golden Lens recipients receive a cash prize and a plaque plaque (plak)
1. any patch or flat area.

2. a superficial, solid, elevated skin lesion.

. Award-winning articles and photos will be displayed at the 2003 ACA National Conference in Denver, Colorado, and will be announced in Camping Magazine.
