Golden Gate National Senior Care Announces Executive Promotions.

FORT SMITH, Ark. -- Golden Gate National Senior Care (GGNSC), today announced several executive promotions.

--Michael Karicher, 37, formerly Vice President, Compensation, Benefits, and Human Resources Information Systems, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Administration. He is responsible for all aspects of Golden Gate National Senior Care's human resources management and administration, and for ensuring that GGNSC's human resources programs are closely aligned with the company's business strategy. In addition, Karicher is responsible for the company's Fort Smith facilities management function.

--Liz Grima, 43, formerly Vice President of Human Resources, Service Businesses, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Service Companies. She is responsible for all aspects of human resources management -- including recruiting, associate retention and training -- for Aegis Therapies, Aegis Acute Rehab, AseraCare Hospice and Home Health, and Aedon Staffing.

--Andrea Ludington, 60, formerly Senior Vice President, Professional Services, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Clinical Services. In her expanded role, she will be responsible for leading Golden Gate National Senior Care's clinical services and achieving the company's quality goals. Ludington will assist the Division Presidents in managing the activities of GGNSC's Division Directors of Clinical Services and Medical Directors in order to ensure that GGNSC implements clinical and quality best-practices in all its skilled nursing facilities.

--Becky Bodie, 49, formerly Senior Director of Clinical Reimbursement, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Compliance. She is responsible for ensuring that Golden Gate National Senior Care and its employees adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines. She also administers GGNSC's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics.

--David Beck, 51, formerly Vice President and General Counsel, Healthcare Law, has been promoted to Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President, Government Relations. He is responsible for Golden Gate National Senior Care's legal operations -- including corporate law, healthcare law and litigation -- as well as the company's government relations function.

--Kevin Roberts, 53, formerly Senior Vice President, Financial Operations, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Skilled Nursing Facility Operations. In his expanded role, Roberts is responsible for assisting the Division Presidents with the operations of all nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and supervising many of the support services used by the nursing homes including operational finance, construction, business intelligence, managed care and Medicare compliance, and CERES Strategies Medical Services.
