The telco switch sends SS7 signals to a signaling gateway (SG) that converts them into SIGTRAN packets, which travel over IP to the next signaling gateway or , SIP and Diameter protocols, the two solutions enable equipment providers to gain a competitive advantage by utilizing a pre-integrated platform that can be brought to market quicker by reducing the resources needed for development and integration.
